  10. Does anyone have any idea why the self-same definition of a chapter heading
  11. all of a sudden stops incrementing at chapter 3?

  13. Yes, I checked that the chapter which goes back to Chapter one, and checked
  14. that (from the book menu, set up file) the paragraph numbering just
  15. continues.

  17. The numbering definition is pretty boring:

  21. with autonumbering on.

  23. It goes back to one after three chapters.

  25. If I change around the order of the chapters, it still goes
  26. back to one after the first three chapters and seems to not
  27. care what file is what chapter ....

  29. I am running 3.1X on a Sun 670 under mwm
