  10. I'm the new owner of a really cool lookin TRS-80 Model II, with a full 64K
  11. of RAM, and a full-blown 8" floppy disk drive.  Upon cracking open the case,
  12. I noticed that the system seems to use an S-100 bus system.  This then led
  13. me to ponder the possibility of installing extra heavy duty new boards into
  14. the machine, thus making it run as coolly as it looks!  This thing looks
  15. like something Spock would be staring into...
  16.  
  17. So I did a bit of snooping down at the local Radio Shack, where I found a
  18. reference to an upgrade kit which could be used to convert the model II to a
  19. Model 16.  ( M68K + Z80A ).  Any further info, suggestions, hints, or
  20. whatever?  I already have a clone 386, so I'm more interested in getting
  21. some of the weirder microprocessors running in the II.
