  12. Just caught the official announcement this morning. $3995 for
  13. a 15 inch color, 200MB SPARC (Tsunami). Did I just hear
  14. a collective heart attack at Intel and Microsoft?
  15. From the sound of the level of integration, it looks like
  16. this will make a better palmtop then anything coming out
  17. of Intel.

  19. P.S. - why is it Intel 486 chips cost $400+ each to make
  20. while the Tsunami only costs $180? Is it all the 8088
  21. baggage they have to drag around? Serious question,
  22. sorry if it sounds like marketing hype for Sun.
