- We have a Sharp JX-300 Color Scanner with a GPIB interface. Currently
- it is attached to a Macintosh IIfx. We would like to attach it to one
- of our Sun SPARCstations. I would like to hear from anyone who has
- done this with the same or a similar scanner:
-
- 1. What GPIB controller do you use in your Sun?
-
- 2. What SunOS software do you use for image acquisition?
-
- 3. How long does it take to scan an image?
-
- If you are using a different scanner with a SCSI interface, I would
- be interested in hearing about that, as well, in case we decide to
- buy a whole new ball of wax.
-
- Thanks. Please respond by email.
