  13. We have a Sharp JX-300 Color Scanner with a GPIB interface. Currently
  14. it is attached to a Macintosh IIfx. We would like to attach it to one
  15. of our Sun SPARCstations. I would like to hear from anyone who has
  16. done this with the same or a similar scanner:

  18.  1. What GPIB controller do you use in your Sun?
  19.  
  20.  2. What SunOS software do you use for image acquisition?
  21.  
  22.  3. How long does it take to scan an image?
  23.  
  24. If you are using a different scanner with a SCSI interface, I would
  25. be interested in hearing about that, as well, in case we decide to
  26. buy a whole new ball of wax.
