  24. Texas Instrument, the part number for the processor is T.I. TMS390Z50

  52.      Sun Microsystems, Inc. (``Sun'')  has  developed  a  set  of  software
  53. tools,  and  related  documentation  referred  to  as the SPARC Performance
  54. Analysis Tools (``the Software''), in our Advanced Systems  research  group
  55. which we think may be of interest to you.
  56.      The Software allows an existing SPARC program to be monitored to  col-
  57. lect dynamic instruction characteristics.  The Software can be used to col-
  58. lect standard instruction-level profile information (such as opcode distri-
  59. butions,  branch  statistics, function usage), and permits users to develop
  60. custom instruction-level performance analysis tools (such as cache or pipe-
  61. line simulators).  The method used provides significant speedups over trad-
  62. itional trace and simulation based approaches.
  63.      The Software is experimental in nature and is provided ``as is''  with
  64. no  warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, including without limita-
  65. tion, the warranties of merchantability or fitness for  a  particular  pur-
  66. pose.
  67.      Sun is willing to license the Software in binary  and  limited  source
  68. form  solely for the Licensee's internal use.  This Software may not be re-
  69. distributed by the Licensee in either source or binary form.
  70.      In no event will Sun be liable for any indirect,  incidental,  special
  71. or  consequential  damages including, without limitation, loss of revenues,
  72. profits, data or use incurred by the Licensee or any third party,  even  if
  73. Sun has been advised of the possibility of such damages.  Sun's maximum li-
