- Hi, I'm familiar with Suns (Sparc 4s and 3/xxxs) but I'm unfamiliar
- with the newer stuff. I have around $10000 and the main thing I need
- is versatility. The machine needs to be able to be a server or be a
- single user processing center. From what I understand there are new
- Sparc 10s, are there any other machines? I heard they were $40,000.
- If so, out of my range...How about something in between a IPX (that
- is the color one right?) and a SPARC 10? Color would be nice but isn't
- a must...For now let's just start with the machine, later I need to
- know how many users it can handle?,how much SPARC cd-roms, hard-
- drives and the like cost....
-
- Thanks for any help and please email replies...
