- I'm confused. You must be running an ancient version of Pcomm. Pcomm
- has run on all Sun platforms without modification for the last few
- years. My "main" machine is now a Sun IPC (soon to be IPX), and I use
- it to develop and run Pcomm.
-
- If you have a "modern" version of Pcomm, all you have to do is follow
- the instructions in the Readme file, edit the config.h and Makefile,
- compile, and presto... you're up and running.
-
- The current version of Pcomm is v2.0.2 (meaning version 2.0 at patch
- level 2).
-
- Pcomm v2.0 was sent to the moderator of comp.sources.unix on 20 Jul 92,
- but I've given up hope that it will appear there any time soon. Patches
- 1 and 2 where posted to comp.sources.bugs.
-
- Unfortunately, my normal archive site is down (and probably won't be
- back, at least not for that purpose), so I've placed the code in the
- /tmp/pcomm directory on ftp.uu.net.
