  10. We are running HDB uucp to talk to our mail and news feed site. Is
  11. there an elegant way to tell uucp to poll at fixed intervals,
  12. regardless of the completion status of the previous poll? The
  13. scheduler has the annoying habit of stretching out the recall interval
  14. when calls fail. I know that I can remove the status file to force
  15. faster recalls. Should I automate this with cron or by hacking the
  16. uucp scripts, or is there a better method to use?

  18. Yes, I did RTFM. The man pages and the Sun System and Network Admin
  19. manual don't say much about polling and scheduling.
