  17. I also suspect fewer "engineers, scientists, and assorted techies" than
  18. some folks think actually care that much about BSD vs. SV; I suspect
  19. many "engineers, scientists, and assorted techies" outside the UNIX
  20. community would be just as happy running, say, Windows NT, as long as
  21. the particular technical applications they wanted to run were available
  22. under NT on the platform in question.

  28. bother doing so, unless you can dig up *enough* individual exceptions to
  29. show that the bulk of the technical community is truly in love with a
  30. more BSDish UNIX, or even with UNIX in general.)
