  14. Hello SUN Hackers, I wonder if anybody else has observed this:

  16. I've been FTPing down netfind and had the File Manager (SunOS 4.1.2, OW 3.0)
  17. AND a cmdtool cd'ed to the Target Dir. While still receiving seeddb.tar.Z, I
  18. uncompressed and de-tared netfind3.12.tar and read the README. It said some-
  19. thing about Files and Dirs I couldn't see in the File Manager's Pane. I did
  20. a 'ls' in the cmdtool, and presto, here's what I saw simultaneously:

  45. Now that's the THIRD Bug I've found in the Filemgr and I start getting sick
  46. of it! (BTW, the other two are that
  47. 1) Double-Clicking on a Dir to open it may cause it to vanish (especially if
  48.    you accidentally triple-click) [I talk of REAL DELETION!!!],
  49. 2) Jumping from a big Dir to a rather empty one having the Pane scrolled Way
  50.    down leaves the Pane unproperly set, even Refresh doesn't do the Job.)
  51. Any Suggestions short of installing a new SunOS Version?
