  15. Does anyone have a method for printcap and termcap part of the NIS map? For
  16. printcaps, the entry has to be slightly different for the host to which the
  17. printer is attached. An obvious solution is have the NIS consult a local
  18. printcap before consulting the NIS map, like it does for passwd.

  20. I perused some of the old sun-spots archives, but could not find a
  21. satisfactory answer. (one was to modify source code, we don't have source
  22. code). There also is a reference to ypprintcap in the man pages, but it says
  23. it is for sun 386i machines only.

  26. answers can be submitted to the FAQ.
