- my "solution" was to put an Ethernet shunt (y'now, those little boxes
- with one green LED on the back which you can plug in instead of an
- ethernet transceiver cable) on the back, name the domain loopback,
- ifconfig the le0 interface to the loopback address, and RUN NIS on
- that...

- It's a horrible hack, and I would like to replace it with something
- else, but it works.

- I was 3/4th on my way to install a resolv only libc when I discovered
- that SunView does use rpc sometimes, so I did it this way, as I had to
- configure in that device anyway.
