  13. I'm not sure if this is the right newsgroup for this. If it isn't, please
  14. tell me gently what is.

  16. I want to make a host call my modem and give me a login prompt when it's
  17. connected. Does anyone know how to do this? Ideally I'd like to be able to:

  19. * Call the host from my modem, and invoke some magic command on it that
  20. produces the following:

  22. * When I hangup, the host calls me back (on pre-arranged number). When
  23. the modems sync up, I get given a login prompt and can run a normal
  24. terminal session.

  27. So, does anyone know any programs that can do this? Is something like this
  28. FTPable from somewhere? Please e-mail any replies -- I can't keep up with
  29. the volume normally in this group.
