  11. Periodically when I am reading in tapes from a 9 track 
  12. drive to our external hard drive, the system crashes with

  39. The system is a Sun 4/330 running OW 3.0 (happened under 2.0 as well),
  40. SunOS 4.1.2, 3 items on the SCSI bus (1 exabyte, 1 hard drive, 1 CDROM),
  41. a Xylogics model 472 tape drive (9track), and an Aviv vme-multibus
  42. adaptor (model bc 500).

  44. Anyone have any clues?  I think it is tied in with the tape drive
  45. as it only occurs when I am reading in tapes.  It can occur when I am
  46. only reading tapes or when lots of stuff is going on in the background.
