  12. I have two problems here - first, does anyone know of a version of the nameserver
  13. (from sun), that will support TXT records?

  15. Second, I'm running DNS & NIS on a sun sparcstation at 4.1.2. The sun is a secondary
  16. server for two masters, one a DECstation and the other is another sun. We the
  17. nameserver starts up, it successfully downloads a zone from the DECstation, but
  18. *always* fails to transfer the zone from the sun. I see the packets on the network,
  19. and in the debug files, but never in the zone file. When I install Bind 4.8.3 
  20. instead of the sun version, it works, so I don't believe that it is a configuration
  21. problem.
