- I am using the xrlogin/xrlogind programs to rlogin to other hosts
- to be able to get the DISPLAY value passed along.
-
- The following is my problem.
-
- When I use xrlogin/xrlogind under the tcsh shell all works
- fine. When I use xrlogin/xrlogind under the csh shell the
- ``eval xrlogind'' in the .cshrc file
- seem to parse the TERM and DISPLAY values correctly
- for the setenv environment values, but it does not see to
- set the term value correctly as seen below. I use the exact
- same .cshrc file for both csh and tcsh.
-
-
-
- shell /bin/csh
- term |TERM=xterm:DISPLAY=146.5.2.18@3a0.0:
-
- Yet the TERM and DISPLAY values are set correctly.
-
-
- Has anyone, who has used this set of programs, seen this problem
- under the csh shell? Anyone have any suggestions as to what
- might be causing the problem.
