- Hi, everyone,
-
- I don't whether this is a bug in SunOS 4.1.2. When I use crash
- command in Sun IPX and SPARC 2 workstations which run SunOS 4.1.2, I always get this
- status.
-
- -----------------------
- dumpfile = /dev/mem, namelist = /vmunix, outfile = stat
-
- > status
- version: SunOS Release 4.1.2 (REFINED_MVLINK) #1: Thu Nov 5 14:30:53 EST 1992
- Copyright (c) 1983-1991, Sun Microsystems, Inc.
- machine name: cheshirecat
- machine type: SUN ???
- time of crash: Fri Nov 6 08:28:42 1992
- age of system: 17 hr., 46 min.

-
- I don't know why the machine types is "SUN ???".
-
- However, if I do the same in these machines which run SunOS
- 4.1.3, no such a problem.
-
- Any comments? Thanks a lot,
-
- Charles
