- How does one make a standalone (not running NIS) sun running 4.1.1
- use the local resolver? I have played with this in the past.
- I have rebuilt the lib with the resolving libraries but the
- problem then was it didnt look at /etc/hosts anymore.
- What I have done to get around the problem is to get the sources
- for utilities like ftp and telnet and compiling them with the -lresolv
- flag. On my nexts and CDC unix boxes all I had to do was setup
- /etc/resolv.conf
-
- Any solutions?
