  21. Since you're using Sybase, I assume you'll be using TCP/IP.  I recently
  22. ported a server I had written from the old TCP/IP to the kernelized
  23. version.  There appears to be a bug in the select() call under OS/TCP.  On
  24. some iterations, the timeout is ignored and the call returns immediately
  25. even though nothing has happened on any of the sockets.  I reported this
  26. problem to the CAC back in August, but have gotten no response.
