  11. Logical volumes don't seem to work under 4.05F on a R4K indigo.
  12. Here's what I did to create logical volume.
  13.  
  14. 1. created the file /etc/lvtab with the following entry
  15.    lv0:First Logical Volume:devs=/dev/dsk/dks0d1s6,/dev/dsk/dks0d2s7
  16.  
  17. 2. ran mklv to create the logical volume ie. mklv -f lv0
  18.  
  19. 3. grew the file system into the logical volume, ie. growfs /dev/rdsk/lv0
  20.  
  21. 4. changed the entry for /usr in /etc/fstab, ie.
  22.    /dev/dsk/lv0 /usr efs raw=/dev/rdsk/lv0 0 0
  23.  
  24. 5. ran fsck ie. fsck /dev/dsk/lv0
  25.  
  26. Up to here every thing was fine. When I tried to reboot the system I got the
  27. following error message:

  29. Relocation error: relocation of a JUMPADDR overflows
  30. Unable to load boot file: Invalid argument
  31. Autoboot failed
  32. Unable to continue, press <enter> to return to main menu.
