- I have developed at set of setup models in "ansi" Pascal.
- I have a VAX ELN shell to execute the model "real-time"
- on a Ivax network and a VAX VMS shell to execute the model
- "offline" for testing/modeling.
-
- The problem is that our primary modeler developed the same
- model in C on an SG. He now wants to convert the ONLINE
- to C. I suggested the better route (which is what I
- originally designed it for) would be to write a SG Pascal
- shell to run on SG.
-
- He feels that the Pascal compiler for SG may not be as good
- as C.
-
- My question is; How good is the SG Pascal compiler?
