- = I tried 'gclear' and the system gives the following error message
- =
- = % gclear
- = GL: X request = 81.0, error code = 12
- = ERROR #93 Error in communication with window server: ERR_WMANIPC
-
- We've seen this on older 4D/20's and 25's that have the 1.1 version
- of the graphics hardware. Look at the output of 'hinv':
-
- Graphics board: GR1.1 Bit-plane, Z-buffer options installed
- ^^^
- There is a 1.2 version of the board that doesn't seem to have
- this problem. I haven't spoken to SGI about this, so I don't
- know if they're aware of this or what they recommend doing.
-
- It is the only problem we've noticed with the old boards though....
- so far :) Also, this behavior is new with 4.0.x and is still
- present in 4.0.5.
