  22.   We've seen this on older 4D/20's and 25's that have the 1.1 version
  23.   of the graphics hardware. Look at the output of 'hinv':

  25. Graphics board: GR1.1 Bit-plane, Z-buffer options installed

  27.   There is a 1.2 version of the board that doesn't seem to have 
  28.   this problem.  I haven't spoken to SGI about this, so I don't 
  29.   know if they're aware of this or what they recommend doing.

  31.   It is the only problem we've noticed with the old boards though.... 
  32.   so far :)  Also, this behavior is new with 4.0.x and is still
  33.   present in 4.0.5.
