- Does anyone know of a good large format plotter for rgb image files?
-
- Our pictures are generated by Dynamic Graphic's ISM/IVM (now called
- EarthVision). They are 2D and 3D plots. The software is very well done, but
- plots by nature are not as complex to display as, say, photographs.
- Color, however, is important; not so much the right color, as keeping the color
- distinct. (We could probably stick to the standard color map, though.)
-
- I suppose the plotter would need to be Versatec, Postscript, or Tektronix
- format, unless there is some other format for which there are good translators.

- P.S. The people at the local DGI office are fans of the Versatec 8900 series.
- They know their stuff, but I thought that it might be a good idea to try to
- find out what else is out there.
