- I think I have seen something like this but have not
- paid too much attention because if I then do a 'ps -ef'
- and afterward do 'who -a', I think the tty processes have
- disappeared. I will try to pay attention to this. Occasion-
- ally I find that people have not logged out properly and
- they have left processes running which root needed to kill.
- In this case there is a good reason for something to show
- up when I do a 'who -a'.
