  13. I think I have seen something like this but have not 
  14. paid too much attention because if I then do a 'ps -ef'
  15. and afterward do 'who -a', I think the tty processes have 
  16. disappeared. I will try to pay attention to this. Occasion-
  17. ally I find that people have not logged out properly and 
  18. they have left processes running which root needed to kill.
  19. In this case there is a good reason for something to show
  20. up when I do a 'who -a'.
