  14. We are currently experiencing a strange problem with the RCS utilities:
  15. whenever a file is checked-in or out of RCS, the file is tied to user
  16. 'nobody'. Note that this only happens on one particular machine ( a PI
  17. running 4.0.1 ). If one rlogin's to another machine and tries the 'co'
  18. or 'ci' operation, 'check' then reports the correct user name.

  20. Our primary suspect was a bad NIS map, but evevrything looks fine in 
  21. this area. This happened over-night without any particular 'prodding'
  22. ( or at least everyone denies having anything to do with it!! :-)
