- We are currently experiencing a strange problem with the RCS utilities:
- whenever a file is checked-in or out of RCS, the file is tied to user
- 'nobody'. Note that this only happens on one particular machine ( a PI
- running 4.0.1 ). If one rlogin's to another machine and tries the 'co'
- or 'ci' operation, 'check' then reports the correct user name.

- Our primary suspect was a bad NIS map, but evevrything looks fine in
- this area. This happened over-night without any particular 'prodding'
- ( or at least everyone denies having anything to do with it!! :-)
