  17. We installed this year three Crimson/Elan workstations with 
  18. the CodeVision (noe CaseVision)debugging tool.
  19.  
  20. After we had some trouble with the FORTRAN compiler we didn't
  21. install the last maintainance kit on one maschine in order to
  22. produce on one maschine a running executable. At that stage
  23. the CodeVision debugger worked fine on that machine. 
  24. Now we had to bring the 3. machine on the same OS level and
  25. therefor installed the last maintaince kit. Since then
  26. we have the following cumbersome irregularities with cvd:
  27.                     
  28.                    1. whan going with step threw a subroutine 
  29.                       the program counter jumps quite often 
  30.                       to the first line in the subroutine before
  31.                       actually executing the next line
  32.  
  33.                    2. when one wants to step into a subroutine 
  34.                       with "step", cvd does a "continue" instead
  35.                       This is very anoying!
  36.  
  37. The same things happen with edge or dbx so I guess its the
  38. fortran compiler or the debugging kernel.
