- This might be an FAQ, if so I apologize in advance.
-
- I want to hook up a Macintosh to the Sgi. The Mac uses
- a RS-422 interface instead of the standard RS-232 interface.
- I did a "man serial" and they suggest using some jargon
- about "stream ioctl commands" SIOC_EXTCLK and SIOC_RS422.
-
- Does this mean that someone has to write a small program
- to reconfigure the ports, or is there some standard
- command to do this?
-
- Any advice would be much appreciated.
