  12. I would like to make a logical volume consisting of two 2 gigabyte disks.  Since I am doing this on a Crimson, I have the option of putting each disk on a separate SCSI channel.  Is the performance of the logical volume better if the disks are striped across controllers, or will striped disks on the same controller provide similar performance?
