  13. Is documentation available for the Explorer and Inventor file formats?

  15. In particular, I'm hoping to find out about Explorer's Pyramid and
  16. Inventor's geometric data formats, in enough detail to make it possible
  17. to produce code to read and write reasonable subsets of them.  I've hunted
  18. through our copies of Explorer 1.0 and Inventor (EOE) 1.0 to no avail.
  19. It's easy to generate sample data files and guess, but it'd be nice to
  20. look at something definitive if possible.

  22. Maybe a couple of meta-questions are appropriate: How stable are these
  23. file formats likely to be in future products?  [Clearly no promises expected.]
  24. Are they defined primarily by the source code to their library routines
  25. (and so not a suitable subject for documentation)?
