- Yes. At various times, ftp, telnet, rcp, rsh and others will say things
- like this.

- The best book for little gems like "peer died", "connection reset by peer",
- et al is the classic "Computer Networks" by Andrew Tanenbaum. The book is
- old, but the meaning of these phrases has not changed. There is too much
- to do any summary, so I will not try.
