- Dear People,
-
- I have been getting the following error messages several times a minute for
- the last couple of days:
-
- telnetd[2280]: ttloop: peer died
-
- Has anyone seen this error before? What is causing it and how do I "fix"
- it? I have gone through the man page for telnetd but there is no explanation
- of this error message. This machine has been crashing about every other day
- and these are the only error messages that are unusual in the SYSLOG.
-
- The machine I have been getting these messages on is an 4D/320 running Irix
- 4.0.1, has 128 MB of memory, two SCSI controllers, four ethernet connections,
- and about 2.5 GB of disk space on three drives.
-
- Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
