  12. One of my users has an SGI with 128 MB of memory, and a single
  13. program that he would like to lock in as much of that memory
  14. as possible, at the expense of all else except the operating 
  15. system. I've looked at the tuning part of the admin manuals, 
  16. but am wary of changing per process limits in the kernel because
  17. of hidden dependencies I may not be aware of.

  19. Does anyone have experience or suggestions or war stories on
  20. doing this?
