- One of my users has an SGI with 128 MB of memory, and a single
- program that he would like to lock in as much of that memory
- as possible, at the expense of all else except the operating
- system. I've looked at the tuning part of the admin manuals,
- but am wary of changing per process limits in the kernel because
- of hidden dependencies I may not be aware of.
-
- Does anyone have experience or suggestions or war stories on
- doing this?
-
- Thanks, John
