- HELP!!!!
-
- We have a small network of SEQUENT hosts. They are networked via
- MICOM Marathon 5K's. Micom provides optional software known as rtel
- (reverse telnet) software. This software provides the ability to
- install a printer on the network via a REMOTE TERMINAL SERVER (RTS)
- module which plugs into the 5k. My problem is that MICOM, at this
- time does not support the SEQUENT hosts, which are running DYNIX/
- ptx 1.4.
-
- If you are familiar with the rtel software, you are aware that we
- have the source code available to us. After modification to the
- makefile and some souce code modifications I have been able to
- compile executables for the SEQUENT hosts however, they don't work.
- If anyone out there has any words of wisdom, or has already solved
- this problem and would be willing to spend a few minutes to help us
- out please call BRIAN JONES with WOODWORKER'S SUPPLY in Albuquerque,
- NM at 1-800-231-2748. Thanks alot.
-
- Brian.
