  45. COST:   The meeting is $10 for non-members.  Attendees can join the WPDO for
  46.         one year for $70.  (Dues will be $95 for 1993 new members.)  Members
  47.         receive free admission to the monthly meetings, newsletters, access
  48.         to the WPDO BBS, and anything else we can think of.

  51. DIRECTIONS TO THE MEETING:

  53. From Highway 101: Take the Hillsdale Blvd exit.  Go East on Hillsdale, toward
  54.                   Foster City.  Turn left on Edgewater (the 3rd light, about
  55.                   a mile from Highway 101), then take an immediate right into
  56.                   the parking lot.  GO Corp. is on fourth floor of the four
  57.                   story building.

  59. From East Bay:    Take the San Mateo bridge (Highway 92) West, across the
  60.                   Bay.  Take Highway 101 South to Hillsdale Blvd. (the first
  61.                   exit).  Follow the directions above for Highway 101.

  71. PURPOSE:

  73. The WPDO exists to serve the needs of PenPoint developers.  To do this, the
  74. WPDO sponsors monthly meetings meetings where developers and GO representa-
  75. tives make technical presentations and answer YOUR questions.  Other WPDO
  76. services include a newsletter, a BBS, training classes, and distribution of
  77. developer tools and sample programs.  As its name implies, the WPDO has
  78. affiliate chapters throughout the world.  The WPDO is an independent, non-
  79. profit organization, not a division of GO Corporation.

  82. FUTURE MEETINGS:

  84. Monthly meetings are on the second Thursday of each month.  The next
  85. meetings are on December 10, featuring Andy Novobilski on "Learning to
  86. Program Under PenPoint", and January 14, with Ronjon Nag of Lexicus, talking
  87. about cursive handwriting recognition and Lexicus Longhand, a PenPoint
  88. product to do just that.
