  16.     If you do a "!ls" shell escape command on a Next machine, it goes into
  17. a loop and the entire machine (all windows) become very slow until the job is
  18. killed.
  19.     Does anyone have the fix for this bug.
  20.     Is there a GNU/public-domain version of less/more that I can easily 
  21. install on a NeXT.

  25.     As you know:
  26. 1. You cannot set the EDITOR environment variable and hope that will influence
  27. the choice of editor in more.  So you use less which has this capability.
