  20. I'm having this same problem with Adobe Illustrator.  Even when I  
  21. reinstall from the original disks into /LocalApps, the system won't  
  22. recognize .ai files.  Another machine running 3.0 has no problems with AI.

  24. I know all about the Workspace search path and such, and this problem is  
  25. really baffling.  Maybe I have a corrupted copy of AI, but everything else  
  26. works, so this seems unlikely.
