- I'm having this same problem with Adobe Illustrator. Even when I
- reinstall from the original disks into /LocalApps, the system won't
- recognize .ai files. Another machine running 3.0 has no problems with AI.

- I know all about the Workspace search path and such, and this problem is
- really baffling. Maybe I have a corrupted copy of AI, but everything else
- works, so this seems unlikely.
