  11. Each time I use "fsck" it reports an unreferenced File at Block
  12. I=70905. Owner, size, modification time and mode of this file
  13. are displayed, however, not the filename itself. I answer "y"
  14. for correction, also on the following error report "BLKS MISSING
  15. IN BITMAP". I run "fsck" again and type "reboot" afterwards. In
  16. the following system panic it says: "(Cpu 0) vn_rele". After
  17. another reboot command I get "INCORRECT BLOCK COUNT", again at
  18. I=70905 plus "(1 should be 0) (corrected)".

  21.      Now my questions:

  23. - I thought SCSI drives would mask out corrupted blocks automa-
  24.        tically. Why not here?
  25.  
  26. - How can I find out the name of the corrupted file?
  27.  
  28. - Is there a hard disk utility for NeXT like "Norton Utilities"
  29.        for the Macintosh?

  31. - How can I get rid of the problem?
