  15. UserManager.app does not work but nu does work.

  17. I can launch UserManager as root, but when I try to modify or create 
  18. accounts, the app dies.  If I try to launch UserManager when logged in 
  19. as a non-priveledged user, the app dies before even displaying the panel 
  20. that asks for the root password.

  22. Since I don't know what is wrong, I am thinking about replacing the 
  23. /etc/netinfo/local.nidb with the version in /usr/template... (as
  24. is suggested in the manual and in NeXTanswers).  Perhaps the local.nidb
  25. is not the source of the problem... (any ideas??)

  27. There are only a few accounts on my machine - what will replacing
  28. the local.nidb folder do to these accounts?  To my printer and FAX/modem
  29. setup?  What do the files in local.nidb do anyway?

  31. BTW NetInfoManager works but HostManager does not (dies right after
  32. launching).
