  11. Thanks to Robert Nicholson and Andrew Stone (indirectly) for their
  12. suggestions.  They probably solved one of my problems before I could get that
  13. far.

  15. Y'see, I had upgraded my old HD to 3.0 using UpgradePrep.  Then I got a new
  16. HD and did a BuildDisk on it from the old HD.  Figuring I could just copy the
  17. /private/etc directory over (which I did before from my 2.1 system to my
  18. upgraded 3.0 system, at least the flat files) so I didn't have to reinstall
  19. NetInfo.
