  10. I passed notice of a GCC-2.3.1 bug reported here to Richard Stallman.
  11. He asked me to post the following response:

  13.    Could you please post a message in comp.sys.next.sysadmin telling
  14.    people that group is the wrong place to report a GCC bug?
  15.  
  16.    If people find bugs in GCC, they should read the Bugs chapter in the
  17.    GCC manual and then mail bug reports to bug-gcc@prep.ai.mit.edu.
  18.    That's the way to get a bug fixed.  They should read the Bugs chapter
  19.    so that they understand what sort of information the maintainers need.
