  10. There were some postings last month concerning problems after 3.0 upgrade,
  11. namely, the problem w/a missing WindowServer Port. The msg I got was:

  13.    loginwindow : could not find WindowServer port!

  15. The machine was able to reboot properly and I am able to rlogin to it
  16. from another machine.  The only problem is, I get nothing at the terminal.

  18. This was a common problem, as I saw several postings on it, but I was
  19. unable to take notes on the solutions.  If anyone with answers/solutions
  20. could re-post or email me, it would be greatlyappreciated.
