  14. After taking away my ADB keyboard now it denies me the use of Image Agent. I've  
  15. got what WP says is their "3.0 compatible release" and it doesn't support the  
  16. image filters feature of 3.0.

  18. Great big double page ad proclaiming "Taking full advantage of the NeXT  
  19. environment," (first sentence of the second paragraph in left-most column in  
  20. the Winter 1992 issue of NeXTWorld.)

  26. Shades of ADB here folks. NeXT hasn't done a very good job of getting it's
  27. developers to support image filters either. I've just run every piece of
  28. software I have and only three apps support Image Agent, and two of those were  
  29. written by NeXT! (Edit/Mail) And most embarrasing, one of NeXT's own Apps
  30. doesn't support Image Agent, NeXTtv no workee!

  32. The one non-NeXT program I found that works with Image Agent doesn't work with
  33. it very well ie it needs work. It's a beta app so my lips are sealed but they  
  34. are advertizing in NeXTWorld (ie big name app.) And I've got one other "big"
  35. beta app that just plain doesn't work with Image Agent.

  37. So if you're thinking of purchasing Image Agent you might want to keep all
  38. of the above in mind.

  40. Bug reports have been sent to those who have sent me software for testing
  41. with ADB. I ran Image Agent tests on them as well. So if any of you
  42. developers out there want to get in on Scotty's Beta Testing Service
  43. you can NeXTMail 'em to the e-mail address given above.

  45. I wonder if NeXTWorld will be covering this in their review of Image Agent?

  47. Image Agent, an app that is unfortunately ahead of it's time.
