  17. I've been trying to print the image of a rib file from the
  18. 3D demo application included in 3.0. This is a standalone
  19. NeXTstation Color. It tells me it can't connect to localhost.
  20. My machine has a hostname of sapphire.

  22. So... I look in the netinfo database and sapphire doesn't 
  23. appear but localhost and broadcasthost are there (as expected).
  24. So, I experimented by changing the local render entry to look
  25. for sapphire instead of localhost. Still no good.

  27. When I upgraded to 3.0, I booted from the 3.0 CD and had it do
  28. a complete upgrade rather than use the update application. I've looked
  29. at the online application notes, but if you have a standalone machine
  30. there is no entry in the netinfo database that corresponds to the 
  31. hostname as it states. It would appear to me that you need to create
  32. a network to get this to work, but that can't be right.
