  14. i am trying to incorporate an open panel into an application which i am 
  15. writing.

  17. if i tuck in the Documents menu item, i get the entries in (open, save, ...)
  18. dimmed. but if i drag in the Edit, or Text, or Font panels, then the entries
  19. are not dimmed and i can use them in the app.
  20.  
  21. it seems i need to create a connexion from the open entry to summat else to
  22. make it functional, but i can not figure that out.
