- Yeah, that is annoying.
- I've got two workarounds.

- The first is to rename the directory containing your unwanted palette.
- Then restart IB. It will fail to find the palette and remove it from
- the list.

- The second way is to edit your .NeXT/defaults.nibd and remove the
- unwanted palette from the AvailablePalettes list. No doubt there is
- a more elegant (dwrite) way to do this, but I like to play with fire.
