  39. As of this writing we have a version shipping which takes advantage of  
  40. NeXTSTEP 3.0's Mac file system handling. It supports "flat" sound files  
  41. such as those produced with MacRecorder and it also extracts 'snd'  
  42. resources from any Mac file. It creates a separate NeXT .snd file for each  
  43. 'snd' resource found in a given file. It will also work with MacBinary  
  44. files directly downloaded from online services in both of the  
  45. above-mentioned formats. It automatically determines the file type from  
  46. its contents, regardless of extension.

  48. As far as I know we have the only package which handles all these formats  
  49. (.aiff coming soon!), and the only product that reads the Mac resource  
  50. fork under NeXTSTEP 3.0.
