  12. After I shipped off my post bitching about the dearth of numerical  
  13. analysis software for the NeXT, I came across this posting in  
  14. comp.sys.next.software which gives me hope for the NeXT and adds credence  
  15. to my contention that X-based software which executes on the NeXT is a  
  16. bogus approach.

  18.    I just spoke with the folks who produce this package and they
  19.    told me that they have just decided to do a dedicated NeXTSTEP
  20.    port, not just an X11 implementation, thanks to the
  21.    overwhelming response they've  gotten from NeXT users!

  25.    The salesman I spoke with was very curious about NeXT machines
  26.    and said that there is one salesman there who already has a NeXT
  27.    and loves it to pieces.
