Two questions:
1) I recently upgraded to 3.0, and did a netstat. Much to my chagrin, 30 or so lines of connections that look like this popped up:
tcp 0 0 b62103.STUDENT.C.6
95 b62103.STUDENT.C.673 ESTABLISHED
Port 673 seems to love making connections with every other port imaginable... Any ideas what this is? These worthless(?) connections are obfuscating the real information netstat has to offer.
2) Has anyone gotten X11 to start up on login? I'd like to make my console start up xinit instead of WindowManager, but MouseX X11R4 currently won't grab the mouse and screen, so I get some weird results.
Thanks in advance!
