- The following I remember from a recent article in c't (german magazine).
- Both, the 500C and the 550C use a three-color and a black cartouche. The
- 500C however carries only one at a time, so it asks you to exchange it,
- when necessary. This is not only a little inconvenient, but also means,
- that it can't use black ink inside a color picture, what the 550C does,
- thereby enhancing output quality.
