  11. There've been quite a few postings lately regarding Icon,
  12. IconBuilder, etc.  We have a product we are releasing
  13. on November 16th that we hope will help out in its
  14. small part with the problem - ArtBursts: Icons+.
  15. ArtBursts: Icons+ is a large collection of icons for
  16. NeXTstep (4094 at last count) in the categories of:

  18.    Communication - including fax, mail, & telephone icons.
  19.    Computers - including icons for Macintosh, NeXT,
  20.       output, PC, and storage.
  21.    Cursors - including arrows, centering, directions, graphics,
  22.                    hands, help, links, text, time, and zooming icons.
  23.    Directions - including arrows of all shapes and sizes
  24.    FileManage - including icons for file formats, files, and folders.
  25.    Graphics - including bits, color channels, crop marks,
  26.                      gradations, graphing, grids, line patterns, shapes,
  27.                      and tools.
  28.    Keyboard - includes key sets and various button commands.
  29.    Multimedia - including music, sound, transport controls,
  30.                      and video icons. 
  31.    System - including icons for many folders on the NeXT system.
  32.    Text - including alignment, columning, font, margins,
  33.                      spacing, tab icons.
  34.    and Various which includes many others that don't fit the
  35.                      above categories.

  37. ArtBursts: Icons+ allows users to quickly find and use pre-made
  38. icons for use in designing program interfaces. Though it won't fit
  39. the bill for those who need to  design their main application icons
  40. like a pixel-editing application will  - it should greatly help out for
  41. those times when you don't want to have spend all your time
  42. creating icons when prototyping.
